White Rocks Beach, Northern Ireland

DSCN9406

Sole Traveling Mama made a great “discovery” of the White Rocks beach on her way home from Rathlin Island. This beach with it’s large sand dune can be accessed directly off the Causeway Coastal Route in Northern Ireland, about a 10 minute drive from the Giant’s Causeway and 5 minutes from Dunluce Castle, between the towns of Portrush and Bushmills. Arrive at 5:00 pm or later and you will have the dune nearly to yourself! Parking is easiest all the way at the bottom of the hill (you will pass a lot about halfway down, but just keep on going!)
