Looking for something unique to do in Paris this weekend? Would you like to have an experience outside of the traditional Parisian sights?
For the first time ever, the International Skateboarding Championships will be in Europe, right here in Paris! Sole Traveling Mama and her girls will be attending the event Saturday, which begins at 10:00 and ends at 19:00, with live bands performing from 19:30-23:00. There will be training exhibitions, the debut of the Mega Ramp in Paris and the IOU Ramp Streetcourse.
The All Day Skate Pass is 10 euros/person and the music pass is 20 euros/person. If you would like to attend both events, there is a discounted price of 25 euros/person. Sunday riding events begin at 10:00 and end at 17:00, with a full timetable on the website.
Held in the historic La Grand Halle de la Villette which was built between 1865-1867, the event will feature the debut of the Mega Ramp in Paris. Riders from all over the world will be competing for 30,000 euros in prize money.
